Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in child exploitation case

On September 30, 2025, Detectives with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office General Investigations Division (GID) initiated an investigation following a complaint involving inappropriate behavior by an individual.

Through the course of the investigation, Detectives developed information leading to charges against Alexander Brandon Johnson, age 32, of Lenoir County. A warrant was obtained for Indecent Liberties with a Child (Felony) and Statutory Sexual Offense with a Child by an Adult (Felony).

Johnson was taken into custody and transported to the Lenoir County Detention Center, where he was initially held without bond. On October 1, 2025, during his first appearance, Johnson received a $500,000 bond related to these charges.
