Second raid in a year: cocaine, guns seized by KPD

KPD"s Violent Crime Action Team and KPD's SWAT Team served a narcotics search warrant for a residence on Dr. MLK JR Blvd. The search warrant concluded a seven month investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine by Rodney Meadows. This was the 2nd search warrant served on the residence within a years time. During the search detectives seized over 20 grams of crack cocaine, a firearm, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and US Currency. Meadows and a conspirator, Tevante Hatch, were arrested and placed in the LC Jail for the following:

-Possession of a Firearm by Felon

-Possession of Cocaine (8 counts)

-Felony Maintain a Dwelling (8 Counts)

-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tevante Hatch

-Felony Possession of Cocaine

-Possess Controlled Substance in a Jail

-Possession With Intent to Sell Deliver Marijuana

-Felony Maintaining a Dwelling

-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
