LCC places in statewide wellness challenge

Miles for Wellness is sponsored by NC OSHR Worksite Wellness, and is held for eight weeks in the Spring and Fall of each year, as a way to get employees up and moving. Lenoir Community College’s Campus Cruisers placed third in the Super Hare Division of Challenge 27 – The Road to the Stanley Cup.

The total team steps were 8,094,589. Out of 229 total teams, LCC ranked 16 overall! Teams are gearing up for Challenge 28 this fall beginning in September. keep moving over the summer and get ready for Challenge 28, coming this Fall in September. Other teams participating in  Challenge 27 were Christy Culbreth and Strictly Business, Jessica Cruz and Lancer Loopers, Penny Maready and Pacemakers, Nikki Proctor and LCC’s Heart and Sole, and Lisa Wooten Hightower and the Lancer Queens.
