USDA-RD Participating in Ribbon Cutting with Snow Hill Homeowner

SNOW HILL, N.C. -Rural Development State Director Reginald Speight is celebrating a family’s milestone of the American Dream of homeownership when they cut a ribbon and are welcomed into their home on June 5, 2023 at 10 a.m.

The family partnered with Rural Development utilizing the Single-Family Housing Direct Home Loan program.

Also known as the Section 502 Direct Loan Program, this program assists low-and very-low-income applicants obtain decent, safe and sanitary housing in eligible rural areas by providing payment assistance to increase an applicant’s repayment ability.

Speight and members of his Rural Development Team are participating in events celebrating National Homeownership Month across the state in June.
