Lenoir County Education Foundation 2023 Superball Tournament
The Lenoir County Education Foundation’s Annual Superball Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, September 14,2023 at the Kinston Country Club. Lunch starts at 11:30 and tee off is at 12:30pm.
Profits from the golf tournament provide the majority of the funds raised for the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce’s Teacher Mini Grants program. This program provides educational opportunities for which there would otherwise be no funding available. All Lenoir County Public School teachers are eligible to apply for a mini grant.
Tournament Chairman, Judy Jones, shared that over $23,000 in mini grants were awarded last year. It’s thanks to our sponsors and players that this was possible.
We all know that having a great education system is key to helping our students succeed and attracting new business to our community.
