At around 2:40PM on 02/10/23 SHPD was dispatched to 416 Kingold Blvd. to investigate a shots fired call. Upon arrival SHPD officers, with the assistance of deputies from Greene County Sherriff's Office secured the scene and began an initial investigation. The information received through the initial investigation as of 02/10/2023 @ 20:00 is as follows:

A silver sedan has been depicted in surveillance footage leaving the area at a high rate of speed heading southward on Hull Road at the time of the incident. Witnesses at the scene stated that a small silver sedan was driving on Hull Road at a high speed firing from the vehicle. No one at this time has reported being injured from the incident. Our investigation as of now is indicating that West Greene Elementary was not a target of this shooting in any way. SHPD is investigating this incident with utmost diligence and requests that any helpful information be directed to our agency.
