Greene County Sheriff's Office requests public assistance

Greene County Sheriff’s Office posted the following on Facebook:

***ATTENTION***

The Greene County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the public in reference to two breaking and entering investigations in the Shine Area.

On Friday 08/05/2022 Deputies responded to two separate breaking and enterings off of Hwy 13 South near the Greene/Wayne County lines, where two homes were broken into around 12:00 pm. Several electronics along with other property were taken from the homes. The only suspect information at this time are two black males that were possibly driving a black Nissan Altima.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Greene County Sheriff's Office at 252-747-3411.

The Sheriff's Office does have a Crimestoppers Program and a reward can be given for information that leads to an arrest.
