Changes in leadership happening within Greene County Schools

Changes are happening within Greene County Schools. Greene Early College High School will get a new principal. Mr. Taylor Moore will take over as principal for Greene Early College. The current principal, Dr. Rodney McNeill, will become the new Executive Director of Human Capital effective July 1. 

Dr. McNeill will take over for Mr. Raymond Smith, who is retiring after 50 years of service with Greene County Schools. 

Dr. McNeill says, “It is an honor to continue my professional growth with Greene County Schools. I am grateful for this new opportunity to serve. Greene County Schools is a great place to work and learn. I look forward to working to recruit and keep high-quality, talented professionals to Greene County Schools so that we can build on the positive trajectory that has been established. Mr. Moore will officially become the new principal of Greene Early College effective on July 1, 2022. Mr. Moore will leave his current role as assistant principal at Greene County Intermediate School. 

“Having previously taught at Greene Early College, I am fortunate to understand the power of relationships and the culture of the school. Says Moore, I look forward to beginning this new journey as principal on July 1 as I hope to further build upon the already strong foundation of academic excellence and to continue to provide a school that values growth and achievement among students and staff.”

Superintendent Dr. Creech said, “We look forward to Dr. McNeill and Mr. Moore continuing their leadership of Greene County Schools in these new roles.”
