Greene County to hold swearing in ceremony for Interim Sheriff Sassser
Derek Burress, Greene County Commissioner, announced an upcoming meeting and swearing in ceremony for Interim Sheriff Matt Sasser.
“There will be a special meeting Monday the 14th at 8:30 a.m. to approve the bond for the newly appointed Sheriff. The swearing-in ceremony is to take place immediately afterward.” Burress posted on his Facebook page.
“We were fortunate to have three qualified applicants for the position. For me, my vote was for stability,” said Burress.
