LCC Casino Night Feb. 25

LCC Casino Night Feb. 25

Leon Steele, Executive Director of Pride of Kinston Downtown Revitalization, returns as a celebrity dealer at Lenoir Community College Foundation Casino Night. The event will be held on February 25, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Lenoir County Shrine Club. Tables open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds from the event benefit the LCC scholarship program.

On any given day, you can find Steele busy making downtown Kinston great, with, as he says, the best volunteers there are.  Though he has only been here for four years, Steele is making the vision for Kinston a reality.  What he loves is how the community comes together to make Kinston the best it can be.  He loves the interaction with the community.

If you have been to downtown Kinston this Christmas season, there is no way you missed his beautiful work.  Steele spends endless hours planning transformations, like Christmas in Pearson Park.  From the huge lit deer, beautifully decorated Christmas trees and lights all over the park, he has transformed it into a magical Christmas season destination.

Steele encourages you to bring your cash to Casino Night at LCC for one of the most enjoyable fundraisers in Lenoir County.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available for purchase online at www.lenoircc.edu/casino or by contacting Katherine Pearson, Development Coordinator, in the LCC Foundation office at 252-233-6843.
