Attorney Nicholas Harvey of Kinston was awarded the Chief Justice’s Professionalism Award. The award is given to Individuals whose contributions have demonstrated the highest commitment to genuine professionalism.

I want to thank everyone, especially Chief Justice Paul Newby, Resident Superior Court Judge Imelda Pate, Attorney Jimbo Perry, my family, friends and the members of the 8th Judicial Bar. I am who I am because someone loved me along with the help and support of countless individuals.”
