SALARY RANGE: $32,815 - $46,367

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The primary purpose of this position is to determine on-going eligibility for assistance through the Adult Medicaid programs including Medicaid for persons in long term care facilities (LTC); Medicaid for Community Alternatives Program (CAP); and Special Assistance for persons in domiciliary facilities (SAABD).

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Good mathematical reasoning, organizational and computational skills. Ability to communicate with clients, applicants, and the public to obtain data, and to explain and interpret rules, policies, and procedures. Ability to understand the needs and problems of clients/applicants. Ability to learn the program area of assignment and all agency programs and services which could affect the client/applicant.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker.
