Kinston Arts Center to host "Turning on the Lights" sculpture dedication

On July 29, 2021, at 5:30 pm there will be a "Turning on the Lights" sculpture dedication held at the Kinston Arts Center. The sculptures are collectively called "Rising Currents" and they will be providing connectivity to a three-block area connecting the Kinston Arts Council at the corner of N. Blount, N. Queen, and Mitchell street. The three sculptures that will be getting lit up are a feather, tobacco leaves with a sweet potato vine, and a skiff.
