Approximately 60% of the $35,000.00 project cost came from  NC General Assembly Downtown Revitalization Grant, supported by State Rep. Pat McElraft (R-Carteret/Jones) and former State Senator Harry Brown (R-Jones/Onslow), and administered by the NC Department of Commerce under its Main Street Planning and Rural Division.  Additional financial support was provided by the Town’s Beautification account, funded by property taxes.
