Help Wanted: Lenoir County Health Department - Nutritionist I

LENOIR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT Nutritionist I: Regular, Full-Time, Position Salary Range: $26,674 - $47,069

Performs work providing clinical nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the WIC Director.

This position will serve in the WIC Department of the Lenoir County Health Department. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am until 4:30pm; however, occasional work outside of these hours may be required for meetings, trainings, workshops and conferences.

Minimum Education and Experience: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education- approved Didactic Program in Dietetics; or Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Bachelor’s degree in any subject area from an accredited four-year college or university; or a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year college or university. Candidates should provide documentation of registration status from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, provide university or college transcripts or CADE verification statement.

Valid NC Driver's License required. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) preferred.
