Peg Godwin receives Old North State award

During Peg’s retirement reception she was presented the Old North State award by NC House Representative Chris Humphrey. This is given to State employees who retire with at least 20 years of extraordinary service to our State.

The reception drew Peg's Extension peers from all over the Souteastern District, Master Gardeners, Junior Master Gardeners and Beekeepers as well as Peg's family and friends.
Flowers are prettier, vegetables, taste better, trees are more productive and lawns are greener because of Peg.
