Business Brief: Lenoir County Farm Bureau's Heith Harrison receives Certified Leadership designation

Heith Harrison, Agency Manager of the Lenoir County Kinston Office, recently received the Certified Leadership Program (CLP) designation.

Earning the Certified Leadership Professional (CLP) designation offers tangible evidence of leadership skills development necessary for professional growth, according to the International Association of Insurance Professionals, the organization that awards the designation. In order to achieve the designation, each designee must complete a seventeen module, 52-hour series of leadership topics and successfully pass an exam at the end of each course. 

The International Association of Insurance Professionals was officially organized in 1940 and is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry. The national organization has 225 local associations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The association is best known for providing insurance education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to its members.
