Flash flooding may occur within the City of Kinston during Tropical Storm Isaias

As we prepare for Isaias to approach the Carolinas, we are being advised to expect rainfall totals between 3-5 inches during the storm. With these rainfall amounts it is probable that some flash flooding may occur within the City of Kinston. Please plan ahead and monitor the weather conditions around you. We have attached some maps that frequently experience the effects of flash flooding.
