Lenoir County Girl Scouts gathered at the North Carolina Veterans Home in Kinston on Halloween morning to put on a costume parade for the residents. The girls paraded around the outside perimeter of the home waving to the residents through the windows. Residents could be seen cheering and clapping for the girls.

The Girl Scouts then gathered at a second location for games and pizza as they celebrated Founders Day. Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts was born on Oct 31, 1860 and her birthday is celebrated each year as Founders Day!
