Jan 10 Continuing education short term training classes offered

Lenoir Community College is offering the following classes Spring Semester:

• Bookkeeping 101 begins January 13 on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight weeks. Cost is $75.

• Microsoft Office Specialist Certification class begins January 13 on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m. for 16 weeks. Cost is $180 and tuition assistance is available.

• Intro to Adobe Photoshop and Lightrooms begins January 14 on Monday and Tuesday nights for four weeks. Cost is $75. Instructor is Kelly Statum.

• Excel classes - Intermediate Excel begins January 14 on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight weeks. Basic Excel begins March 3 on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 pm for eight weeks. Cost for both classes is $75.

• Everything Apple begins January 14 on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for eight weeks. Cost is $75.

• Electronic Health Records begins January 15 on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for 16 weeks. Cost is $180 and tuition assistance is available.

• Creating Apps on iPhones - Part 1 meets January 16 in class with remaining classes online for eight weeks. Cost is $75. Part 2 begins March 12 online for eight weeks. Cost is $75.

Part 3 starts May 21 online for eight weeks. Cost is $75.

• Personal Income Taxes Workshop on January 22 for one night only, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $30.

• Pottery Making workshop will be January 29, one night only, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $30.

• Cupcake Decorating for Valentines and St Patrick's Day with be held February 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn fun ideas and tips for decorating cupcakes for these holidays! Cost is $30 plus supplies. Pre-registration required to get list of supplies needed for class.

• Digital Photography & Image Editing - Two classes: the first begins February 17, Monday and Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for four weeks. The cost is $75.The second class begins February 19 on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight weeks. The cost is $75. The instructor is Kelly Statum.
