LA GRANGE — The Hawks had little trouble in their season opener against the Cougars, winning 25-22, 25-17, 25-12.
Reena Parris recorded seven kills to lead North Lenoir (1-0), with Paytyn Jones adding six. Kanijah Taylor had four kills and five blocks, Kennedy Sullivan had eight digs and Melanie Gallardo added 16 service points.
