McLawhorn was a vital part of the Patriots’ offense as the team defeated Grace Christian 51-36 Oct. 4. The senior had 32 carries for 243 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching five passes for 64 yards.

Garris had a pair of strong games to help the Chargers get victories over Greenville Rose and West Craven. The senior totaled 10 kills in the contest against the Rampants Sept. 30, then followed with seven kills and seven service aces against the Eagles Oct. 3.
