Greene Central wins 12th straight
VANCEBORO — The Rams haven’t slowed down in the slightest, defeating West Craven 8-0 to improve to 17-2 on the season.
Greene Central had a 7-0 lead at halftime on the way to a 9-1 record in the EC2A. The Rams face Ayden-Grifton on the road Monday before ending the regular season against Washington at home Oct. 30.
North Lenoir rolls past Ayden-Grifton
LA GRANGE — The Hawks had a versatile scoring outburst in a 9-0 win over Ayden-Grifton Wednesday.
Luis Cordova and Jerrin Howell each had two goals for North Lenoir (10-6-1, 7-3) while Matthew Hill added a goal and assist and Luis Henriquez had a goal and an assist. Maven McCoy, Mathew Deanda and Joey Bednarz all had goals. Taiwan Hines had four assists with Luis Henriquez and Justin Hernandez each added one. The Hawks take on Kinston at home Monday before taking on South Lenoir on the road Oct. 30.
