Greene Central wins 11th straight

The Rams continued their stampede with a 10-1 win over Kinston Monday. 

Greene Central (16-2, 8-1 EC2A) was led by Alan Rubio, who had four goals. Emanuel Montalvo provided two goals and two assists, with Daniel Roman, Alejandro Nunez, Jose Romero and Nolberto Castillo all adding goals. Ariel Nunez, Eduardo Gonzalez, Jose Morquecho and Ulises Mora all had assists.

North Lenoir snaps two game skid, defeats West Craven

VANCEBORO — The Hawks defeated the Eagles 3-1 Monday, maintaining its third-place position in the EC2A Conference.

Taiwan Hines had two goals and Luis Henriquez added one for North Lenoir (9-6-1, 6-3) to get back on the winning track. Trey Kivett and Luis Cordova provided assists.

South Lenoir gets revenge against Ayden-Grifton

AYDEN — South Lenoir defeated Ayden-Grifton Tuesday 5-2, picking up redemption after a loss to the Chargers 4-2 on Sept. 25.

Steven Rodriguez and Esteban Hernandez each had two goals for the Blue Devils (9-8, 5-5) while Kent Rodriguez added one. Jesus Lopez provided two assists, while Kaden Noble and Cole Price had one each.
