Pollocksville's Post Office reopened Friday

POLLOCKSVILLE — The Pollocksville Post Office is back in operation.

On Friday, the post office operated fully for the first time since Hurricane Florence and is in its original location of 125 Main St. Cathy Mobley, the postmaster of the Pollocksville Post Office since August 2018, said she’s excited about working in the office.

“It’s going to be a new process for me,” Mobley said. “It’s the same facility, but the building has been refurbished and it’s pretty much a new place.”

On weekdays, the post office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. On Saturdays, the post office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
