Help Wanted: Finance Director, Kinston Housing Authority

Kinston Housing Authority is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Finance Director.

The Finance Director will oversee and direct the daily financial operations of the Housing Authority, managing revenue and disbursing funds. Prepares annual budgets and revisions. Manages cash flow; accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statistics, and financial reporting. Supervises and directs the finance department staff. Responsible for managing the daily operation of the software system and serves as the main contact for the Housing Authority’s IT support company.

Benefits package includes the NC Local Government Employees’ Retirement System (LGERS), 401k with 3.5% employer match, 457b, medical, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience. CPA and supervisory experience preferred.

Expected Hiring Salary: $59,488 - $78,000.
