Lenoir County:

Lenoir Community College, South Lenoir High School and North Lenoir High School will all open as shelters beginning on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00 AM.

Lenoir Community College, 231 N.C. Hwy 58, Kinston
North Lenoir High School, 2400 Institute Road, La Grange
South Lenoir High School, 3355 Old Hwy 11, Deep Run

If an overflow shelter is needed, it will be at:
Kinston High School, 2601 N. Queen St., Kinston

**Pet Owners should bring a kennel for their pet, along with pet food, medications, proof of rabies vaccinations and other necessary pet supplies. Pets will be housed indoors, but in some shelters the pets will be placed in separate locations from their owners. Any questions about animals should be directed to 252.527.2191 (before storm) and 919.495.1116 (during storm). Lenoir County SPCA is taking pet food and supplies and can be reached at 252.520.0003.

Craven County

Four shelters will open at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Havelock High School (101 Webb Blvd, Havelock)
Brinson Elementary (319 Neuse Forest Ave, New Bern)
Benn Quinn Elementary (4275 Martin Luther King Blvd, New Bern) *Shelter takes pets
Farm Life Elementary (2000 Farm Life Ave, Vanceboro)

Duplin County

Four shelters in the county will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Wallace-Rose Hill High School (602 High School Rd, Teachey) 
Beulaville Elementary School (138 Lyman Rd, Beulaville)
North Duplin High School (1388 NC-403, Mt Olive)
James Kenan High School (1241 Nc 24 And 50 Hwy, Warsaw) *Shelter takes pets

Greene County

No information has been released. Notices will be posted on the Greene County Emergency Services Facebook page.

Jones County

A shelter will be available at Jones Senior High School starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Other notices will be posted on the Jones County website.
