Obituary - Kenneth "Dot Dash" Brigman

Mr. Kenneth “Dot Dash” Brigman, 80, of Kinston, left this earthly life to meet his Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at Grantsbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grantsboro. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He retired from the Kinston Fire Department but also worked with the Lenoir County School System. He loved spending time with his family and friends but also enjoyed helping others. Dot Dash was loved by all and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Sue Brigman; sisters, Jean Carrol Brigman and Josie Marie Brigman Sandlin and brother, Sammy Brigman. Dot Dash is survived by his daughter, Dawn Brigman Hayes; son, Jonathan Brigman; grandson, Dale Paschall Hayes all of Bayboro and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday October 19, 2018 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Garner Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Parker and Pastor Ivey White officiating with graveside following at Westview Cemetery.
