Farmer's Market Update for 3/23/2019

What's at the Farmer's Market?

Word has it that strawberries and asparagus will be ripe around the first of April! The market will open as soon as these two crops are ready to sell. Meanwhile, Rodney, the pork skin man, will be in his booth selling pork skins, pork rinds and fried peanuts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If you are on the Keto Diet, these snacks are meant for you. They are also delicious with oysters, crumbled on baked potatoes and on salads.

Friday April 19 from 1pm-4pm
Saturday April 20 from 8am-1pm
All sales will be from the greenhouse at the Extension Office this year.

April 27 - HomeGrown Event - Radio Station WSFL and Radio Joe will be broadcasting from our market...a special day with bands and extra vendors and food trucks more exciting info to follow.
