Gregory Allen Dail, 69, of North Topsail Beach, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston.

On Tuesday April, 16, 2024 at 12:13 p.m., the Kinston Police Department responded to a report of a subject falling from a building on the 100 blk of E. Peyton Ave. Upon arrival, officers along with Fire-EMS personnel located a 76 year old female deceased on the west side of the building. This case is still under investigation, however there is no indication of homicide at this time.
