Help wanted: Lenoir County Government Health Department - Community Health Assistant

As a member of the Lenoir County Government Health Department, you can make a difference! The Health Department is seeking candidates for a Community Health Assistant. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in clinical activities per scope of practice as instructed by the Public Health Nurse Supervisor and Public Health Nurse to facilitate effective patient flow. An employee in this classification must possess basic knowledge of the social, economic and environmental conditions of clients to be served; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; ability to record basic data; and the ability to perform the required physical tasks.
