A portion of Skinner's Bypass was blocked off Monday when an 18-wheeler fell south of N.C. 11.

According to N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper D. Ennis, around 11:45 a.m., the weight shifted on the vehicle, which led to the collapse. Fred Moody and Sons Garage lifted the 18-wheeler upright at about 2:27 p.m. with roads projected to be cleared by 3:15 p.m.

There were no other vehicles in the accident and no reported injuries.
